Training Support In Your Dog’s Home Environment

HOME VISITS

Some behaviours are best understood and worked on within the home itself.

Home visits allow Ali T to observe your dog in their normal environment and provide realistic guidance tailored around everyday routines and household dynamics.

Home Visits Can Help With:

  • Barking
  • Jumping up
  • Daily routines
  • Separation anxiety
  • Over excitement
  • Visitor behaviour
  • Settling in the home

What Happens During A Home Visit?

Sessions typically last around 1½ hours and focus on:

  • Observing behaviour
  • Understanding routines
  • Reading body language
  • Identifying triggers
  • Creating realistic training strategies

There is no need to prepare beforehand — owners are encouraged to continue normal routines so behaviours can be properly observed.

Helping you with your everyday doggie challenges

“My Alsatian Snowy was extremely reactive around other dogs and could only be exercised in a rented field. With Ali’s calm, gradual approach, he’s now socialising happily, has plenty of canine pals, and genuinely enjoys the sessions. A complete success story!”

Steve Yates

“After rehoming my reactive Border Collie, walks were stressful and challenging. Ali’s training and support gave me the confidence to manage difficult situations, and seeing Benji happily interact and play with other dogs has been amazing. I’d highly recommend Ali to any dog owner.”

FAQs

Helping you with everyday doggie challenges.

Reactive dogs are welcome, and many owners contact Ali T for support with barking, lunging, over-excitement, nervousness or difficulty around other dogs and people.

Training sessions are designed to provide calm, controlled and supportive environments where dogs can learn at their own pace without feeling overwhelmed. Ali focuses on helping owners better understand their dog’s body language, triggers and emotional responses while building confidence, calmness and practical handling skills.

Not every reactive dog needs close interaction with others. In many cases, progress begins with creating safe distance, reducing stress and helping dogs feel calmer and more secure in different environments.

Every dog is different, which is why training is tailored around the individual dog and their needs. The goal is not perfection overnight, but realistic, positive progress that helps both dogs and owners feel more confident together.

Absolutely — rescue dogs are very welcome.

Ali T has experience supporting rescue dogs with a wide range of behavioural challenges, including nervousness, over-excitement, lack of confidence, barking, lead pulling and reactivity.

Every rescue dog comes with their own background, experiences and pace of learning, which is why training is tailored around helping dogs feel safe, supported and understood without pressure or unrealistic expectations.

Sessions focus on building confidence, trust and calm behaviour through positive reinforcement and structured guidance, helping both dogs and owners feel more comfortable and confident together.

Ali T focuses on helping owners better understand their dog’s behaviour, communication and emotional responses while providing realistic training techniques that can be continued at home and in everyday situations.

Yes. Sessions are carefully managed using distance, controlled setups and calm introductions to help dogs learn in a safe and supportive environment without becoming overwhelmed.

Dogs bark for many different reasons, including excitement, stress, uncertainty or frustration. There is no judgement during sessions, and Ali will help guide owners through managing their dog calmly and positively.

Many owners feel nervous or embarrassed before attending training for the first time. Ali understands those feelings personally and provides calm, judgement-free support designed to help both owners and dogs feel comfortable.

Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours notice may still incur a charge.
